MelRad Squad December Swim/Run Camp: Dec 9-11, 2022

MelRad Squad camps are desinged to fit in a weekend time commitment.  This camp’s focus is SWIM TECHNIQUE with supporting sessions of mobility and a session on running posture/skills which complements the body position focus of this swim camp.

The sessions are time-intensive but relatively low physical intensity.  

Melrad Coaching builds foundational skills and strength with these camps.  They are an opportunity to work with coach Melanie McQuaid one-on-one and camp sizes are LIMITED to ensure everyone has individual attention.

These camps are appropriate for ALL LEVELS.

MelRad Racing Dec Squad Camp Schedule

Equipment for swimming:

  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Goggles
  • Yoga mat (not necessary the pool has mats)
  • Swim cords (most of my group has these and I have extras)
  • Snorkel
  • Dryland clothing comfortable for exercises on deck
  • Band (I have extras)
  • Fins (there are some at the pool I have size 9s)
  • Pull buoys available at pool

Equipment  for runs/ strength:

  • Layers for rainy weather and hat
  • Run shoes
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Good socks
  • Snacks
  • Training Nutrition
  • Water
  • A run watch (optional)
  • A good attitude (mandatory)

If you have any questions about where the locations to meet are please ask in advance.

Any questions or concerns, please let me know.  I need the waiver/info sheet and payment a minimum of TWO WEEKS in advance and it is non-refundable.  If you cannot make the camp there is a 50% administrative fee (I can’t cancel your pool space) and I will try to apply the rest of the payment toward a future event.
